Hi-Noon took up residency in the new KOKO gallery in London! KOKO provided the perfect backdrop for Mercedes666 ‘s fantastic performance to launch her new edition, Technolust and our first NFT!
TECHNOLUST explores a transgressive cyborgian ideology, embodying the concept of technology as an extension of self, and of a hybrid sexual identity free from social and political binaries.
Ozziline mercedes (b.2k19) is a www. based multidisciplinary artist, working with performance, digital image, installation, print and sound, and developer and programmer of two prominent avatars: mercedes 666 and GIRL CAM 2020.
Inspired and informed by Lacan’s theory of the gaze, each of her works builds upon these avatars; exploring voyeurism, digital value and what it means to be sexy in the age of neo-liberal urbanism.
